In such times as these, it is imperative that we remember from whence we came and whose
shoulders we stand on. In such times as these, it is essential to re-member and carry on the

“To Sistahs Now & to Come”
I/We say thank you to all Sistahs past, present, and to come when our days are done.
I/We say thank you no matter your hue who - resisted being constricted, persisted in pursuit of your truth knowing that your gender did not render you less.
For you were/are richly blessed by an awesome Mother/Creator like no other. In Her image created, not to be dominated, diminished, dismissed, or denied. Infused with Her power, unlimited in capacity. You achieved with bold audacity in spite of closed hierarchy, and pervasive patriarchy, you laid claim to closed terri-tory. You joined voices so there could be diverse choices. We lift your names and proclaim that we will do the same so Sistahs who come after will look back and say, “they stayed the course and made a way so we could be here -today. 9/7/2023
